H. James HUTCHISON, the first child of John and Letitia, was born 23 September 1779. He married Barbary RABB, daughter of James RABB and Hannah BARNETT, on 23 May 1798 in Fairfield District, South Carolina. Barbary was born 17 April 1779 in Fairfield District, South Carolina.

Jesse Brown HUTCHISON, the eighth child of James HUTCHISON and Barbary RABB, was born 26 July 1818 in Georiga. He died 24 November 1864 in Brundidge (Pike) Alabama were he is buried in the Hutchison Family Cemetery. He had a plantation of 1080 acres and served with Company F, 15th Alabama Infantry, Confederate States Army. He married S. Martha Ann JOHNSTON on 18 March 1852 in (Pike) Alabama. Martha Ann was born in 1828 in Georgia and died in 1865 in Brundidge (Pike) Alabama. She is buried next to Jesse in the Hutchison Family Cemetery.

She married Thomas Jefferson McDOWELL on 15 December 1872 in Troy (Pike) Alabama. Thier children are listed under the McDOWELL name.
