He married, on 15 December 1872 in Troy (Pike) Alabama, Susan Martha Ann HUTCHISON. Susan was born 12 January 1858 in Troy (Pike) Alabama and died on 6 September 1908 in Banks (Pike) Alabama. She is buried in Petree Cemetery, part of Banks Cemetery, in Banks (Pike) Alabama.

Barker and Fannie are buried in Memory Lane Cemetery in Anadarko (Caddo) Oklahoma. Barker, better known as MAC, also as Pony, was a cowboy and a retail merchant.

Annette Area McDOWELL was born 14 July 1913 in Anadarko (Caddo) Oklahoma. She married twice, the first time to Elmer Beebe BRISTOW and the second time to Elton N. OSWALD. Elmer Beebe BRISTOW was born 29 December 1905 in Roosevelt (Kiowa) Oklahoma Territory and died 4 January 1994 in Bristol (Ellis) Texas. Annette and Elmer were divorced. Annette and Elmer had three children, their names are listed under the BRISTOW heading. Annette and Elton were married on 12 January 1967 in Albuquerque (Bernalillo) New Mexico. There are no children from the second marriage. Annette died on 29 March 2007 and was creamated. Her ashes were spread in the family plot in Memory Lane Cemetery in Anadarko (Caddo) Oklahoma.
